This post has been overdue by four days. My apologies to Mike Villar and Company for not having done this recognition immediately.
The past few days set me in frenzy. I had to attend to a thousand and one things like the 86th birthday celebration of my father, my daughter’s art competition in Baguio City and her investigatory project, and the preparations for my younger son’s coming affiliation at the Philippine Veterans Hospital…Then there are favors I had to do for some friends. I also had to compile some important documents for our publication’s accreditation and of course, the housewifey duties on the side. Hence, the delay of this post.
Okay, so how do I start?
Let me say first that blogging has opened a whole new world for me. Not only that blogging has given me a niche where I can journalize the events of my life and my varied thoughts, it has, most of all, educated me further in the realm of internet. Before my blogging days, I regarded the internet only as a convenient way of communicating through emails. But now, the internet has, for me - become as staple as the carbo-rich rice which Filipinos cannot live without.
Since day one of my blogging life, I have hopped around - searching, reading other blogs and I have easily become a ‘fan’ of some prominent sites — or should I say, top sites – in the Pinoy blog world, particularly Sassy’s, Noemi’s and a lot more.
Then I was informed by my son, Marco about the Dash Media. He told me it’s a group being formed by Mike Villar and friends, (need I say that my son is one of them? hehe) with the objective of “leading the way to more intelligent blogging”.
So to make the story short, I signed up. A few days after, I received an email saying I have been considered as one of the first batch of 23 blogs to form the core group. Hurray!
Well, I look forward to having interesting interactions with the rest of my batch. Here’s the complete list of our group:
