To dye or not to dye
Filed under: Fashion & Beauty and Tips

Oh dear, it is that age when strands of silvery hair start peeking out and you can’t hide them anymore. For some people, it comes earlier than usual. Take for instance musician/composer Ryan Cayabyab. His hair started to grey very early. It’s in the genes.

Greying hair is actually no longer a problem. Dyeing is the easy solution. Nowadays, almost everybody dye their hair, not necessarily to cover the white strands, but more for aesthetics’ sake. And we are not talking about the ordinary black hair color here. We are talking about all colors - black, brown, gold, red, purple, green, blue - practically ALL COLORS!

Anyhow, there are middle aged people who don’t seem to mind if their formerly black mane has turned all white. I personally know a few who just uncaringly disregarded coloring their hair to restore their youthful looks. Yet they look good. And they don’t show any qualms about it. They appear to be nonchalant yet confident with their selves. Why, they even look sexy in their white hair.

I guess it is a matter of attitude. What is inside a person is reflected on the outside. Grey hair or not, what matters more is how one carries him/herself; how s/he conducts her affairs; how s/he projects him/herself to others.

So, should I dye my hair? Well, it depends on how I would look with white hair. LOL… Ah, vanity is always a woman’s weakness… :)
