Okay, so I admit, I watch Kapamilya Deal or No Deal. So what’s the big deal? (no pun intended… lol)

Well, from watching the show on an almost nightly basis, I have noticed something. Kris Aquino is sporting a certain glow these days. Not that her product endorsement of a papaya soap is working to her best advantage. I tell you again, Kris has naturally smooth and white skin which most Filipinas of Chinese descent are blessed with. So she doesn’t really need a papaya based beauty soap to whiten her skin.
I believe her glow is seemingly coming from within her. I’m pretty sure many mothers out there will agree with me if I say her pregnancy is what makes her look lovelier - and - chances are - it could be a baby girl!

I don’t really know if Kris has undergone an ultrasound already to find out the sex of her and hubby James Yap’s baby. But if we rely on - you know - popular belief that if a mother is blooming with beauty during her pregnancy - she must be conceiving a girl - then, for Kris and James - a girl it is.

Very noticeable too nowadays, is Kris’ apparent change of image. One time, while watching her breeze through her nightly game show, I commented: “Kris seems to have a different aura with her now. She’s not that wacky and tactless anymore.” To which, my daughter Gem replied: “She has changed her image na kasi. Hindi na masyado maarte. And that’s a good thing for her, she is now more likeable unlike before.”

“She is now more likeable than before.” Well, if Kris indeed was less likeable before, it was because of the controversial relationships she has had with her men. For me, the revelation she did about her contracting a venereal disease from Joey Marquez put her to a ground zero level. She  not only washed her dirty linens in public - she also spread the germs.

But that is now a thing of the past. I believe Kris deserves another chance. She should not be misjudged. She should not be condemned. Some people are so cruel with their comments on her - that they even drag Kris’ son, Joshua, in their effort to put the celebrity down. I even read someone’s remark in a thread - that it serves Kris right to have an abnormal child who has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as karma for her being tactless and maarte.

Now, that is an irrelevant view - and a ruthless one.
