One A Day Multivitamins for Men and Women
Filed under: Health

Each morning, at breakfast table, i dutifully place two bottles of vitamins on the center.

One A Day Vitamins for Men

One A Day Multivitamins for hubby.

Specifications: Complete multivitamins for men, plus more to support:

- Healthy prostate

- Healthy heart

One A Day Vitamins for Women

One A Day Multivitamins for me.

Specifications: Complete multivitamins for women, plus more calcium:

- Promotes bone strength

- Supports a healthy reproductive sytem

Now, tell me - what do you think could happen if hubby, by mistake, took my vitamins instead of his?

The thought crossed my mind this morning, while hubby, busy answering a call from his cell phone, absent-mindedly reached for my bottle. Mmmm… I think I want to do an experiment…

…Just a naughty thought… :D

I don’t think your ‘hubby’ will feel any difference between the two. His system will just ignores what’s not needed.

Exactly the same vits (by bayer) I’ve been supplying to my bro and my sis in law and to those who understand that Centrum is not the only one and there are a lot that are better or just as good. I prefer ‘jamieson’ brand myself, because it’s colourless and doesn’t show on the urine.

I have lots of multivitamins I buy or am gifted with .. but i never finish a bottle. But I should. A permanent fixture on my dining table is grapefruit juice. I swear I never (well almost never) get colds/coughs/uri’s since I began to drink a glassful of the vile-tasting juice daily. LOL (btw, are u into blog advertising now? haha Well why not, will do that too someday soon as learn how haha)

Those vitamins look expensive. But if you’re doing it for your health, well it’s okay. I don’t take vitamins because they make me bloat. :)

If you by mistake switched vitamins, make sure it doesn’t last for long ! Otherwise you may have a hormonal imbalance :)

Haha… your naughty Rhodora, but I don’t think your spirits would switch with your bodies like what happens in movies. :)

Upon reading annamanila comment regarding her fondness for Grapefruit Juice, which is a very good source of vitamins, It rings a bell because I read in most of my Prescription Medication Warnings, from Cholesterol Reducing Drugs, Hypertension, NSAID and even ED (Levitra, Viagra) That GRAPE Fruit Juice has adverse reaction to most of them..

So if anyone taking these type of Medications or any other medication, Please check with your pharmacist or doctor about the possible Adverse reaction to Grape Fruit Juice.. thanks .

Hi, Vic.. yes, I think so too. His body will just ignore what it doesn’t need.

Yup, Centrum is not the only one. In fact, One a Day for women has more calcium than Centrum, which women need because their bones lose calcium when giving birth. One a Day is colorless too and doesn’t show in the urine. :)

Naku, Kathy, my advice - take vitamins regularly especially because you are a mom. We need more calcium because we lose a lot of it upon giving birth.

Kamatis at ampalaya - dekorasyon lang ‘yan.. hehehe.

Blog advertising? Oh, how I wish! hehe. But let’s say, I’m just doing a strategy? Like making a come-on to invite them advertisers… oopss… nadulas.. ! hehe :)

Abaniko, yes, they are expensive, but I get them free. I cajole, threaten, blackmail my brother in the States for him to send me regular supplies. :D

Vic, thank you for the tips. Really appreciate them.

Another thing, I also read that hypertension meds make the blood thin to prevent clotting. On the other hand, Vit E also thins the blood, so if you are taking hypertensive pills, you should not take Vit E without clearance from your doctor.

Sidney, I agree with you that we shouldn’t believe every claim. These vitamins are not therapeutic anyway, but only supplementary. :)
