I just arrived from Manila at this very minute that I am writing this. And I have read all comments to my previous post. Thank you, thank you, my dear friends - for being here, for the hugs, for the encouragement.
I know better now than to question my God. I know better now than to doubt Him. He works in wonderful ways, and if He delays granting whatever wishes you have, He has reasons. Fortunately, I have known, acknowledged and understood the reasons. And when I started to make resolutions regarding these reasons, God, gradually, gave the wishes of my (and daughter’s) heart.
Well, now that I am back to my usual self, I decided to make this meme which I owe Jhennie. Oh, how long ago was that promise I made to her, I can’t remember anymore. Anyhow, I am one who would try hard to make good of a promise, though delayed it may be, hence the following meme.
This meme is called the ABC meme. Hmmm… I got amused when I read this on Jhennie’s site, and so I announced my commitment in her comment box. Oh, me and my big mouth, now there is no turning back.. lol!This meme, as I see, is generally for the young. But I know i can still do it, as I am youngish and young at heart. So here we go now:
A - Available/Single? - Obvious ba? I even got married twice with the same person!
B - Best Friend? - My daughter
C - Cake or Pie? - Pie. Pies are less sweet than cake. And the icing on the cake gives me goose pimple… Ah, blood sugar, blood sugar!
D - Drink Of Choice? - Del Monte fruit juice products. (Naku, loyal talaga ako sa Del Monte, especially with Del Monte ketchup. For me, it’s Del Monte tomato ketchup or nothing! This is not a paid endorsement, huh. I am the kind of person who would shower accolades, ‘with or without pay’, on products that impress me. (Pero siguro, mas okay kung ‘with pay’… hehehe)
E - Essential Items You Use Everyday? - Lip liner, lipstick (only when I go out) and eyeliner (only when I go out), tissue paper, computer
F - Favorite Colour? - Orange, pink, old rose, brick red
G - Gummy Bears Or Worms? - Gummy Bears (Diyos ko, pati ba naman ito, Rhoda, papatulan mo! LOL!)
H - Hometown? - Dagupan City
I - Indulgence? - Chowking halo halo, cellphones (I used to upgrade my unit every year, and six months recently)J - January Or February? - February. I don’t know why, but I always feel blue in January. Could be the euphoria of Christmas and New Year ebbing away.
K - Kids & Their Names? - Marco Severo (Marc or Marco), Ike, Jr. (Aypee) and Gemnaika (Gem)
L - Life Is Incomplete Without? - my family! my kids! (and Internet… :D)

U - Unknown Fact About Me? - Naku, nakakahiya! I was picked Miss University High School when I was in second year high school… Beauty contest kuno! Haha! I remember, after the contest, one of the judges said that one reason why I won was because of my answer to his question:Judge: If you win this contest, how would you feel?
Me: If I win this contest, sir, I would feel very happy because I won’t disappoint the people who are supporting me. (Showbiz na showbiz ang sagot! And to think it came, uncoached, from a 14 year old girl!)
V - Vegetable you don’t like? - Kalabasa or Squash
W - Worst Habit? - I allow my work to heap on me till I get drowned by them!
X - X-rays You’ve Had? - Chest X-ray upon admission in college; Pelvimetry to measure if my pelvis was adequate to allow normal delivery of my first child; Abdominal X-ray to check my kidneys.
Y - Your Favorite Food? - Potato or Russian salad! I can eat it all day every day and not tire of it!
Z - Zodiac Sign? - Ay naku, this is what I’m not sure of. But those who are experts in Zodiac signs will please help me discern. I was born on the 21st of June. Sometimes, my birth date falls under Gemini, and other times, under Cancer. Which is which ba talaga?
