Fortune cookie

We had dinner at Chowking last night and my daughter ordered some fortune cookies. I didn’t want any, neither did hubby, so Gem had them all for herself.

She opened the first one and handed me the ‘wish’ that came along with the cookie. She said: “Ay, this one’s for you, ma. It suits you.

It read: “You are a source of wisdom and strength to many people. Keep it up.”

Jeez… am I? I don’t  even know!

But, thanks, Gem. So sweet of you, my baby girl! :)

Hi, Belle! Thanks for the kind words.

It’s fun to crack fortune cookies, di ba? What the wishes say may not be true at all, but they provide good topic for conversation while dining. :)

Thanks, Sidney. Guess children say what they mean and mean what they say, don’t you think?

Well, maybe what was written inside your fortune cookie was not applicable to you, so you don’t remember it anymore… hehehe..

Auee, little gestures are those that we often take for granted, right? But if we really look closer, they truly mean a lot.

Thanks for dropping by, Auee! :)
