i think the best way to be a good blogger (and by good i mean popular, like you, Rhodora) is to be without pretensions. you just write who you are and what you care about. people who feel the same way gravitate to your blog and they become loyal readers because maybe, they see themselves in you or want to be like you. i bloghopped my whole summer off and believe me, the most popular bloggers are not really the most intelligent or the most beautiful—they’re the most real people, as large as if not larger than life.

oh, and short of sounding like a suck-up— i wouldn’t mind looking like you 31 years from now. ^_^
