Here now, Sexy Mom, is the overdue answer to the meme I owed you.
Aside from the three weird things about me that I shared from Belle’s interview meme, here are more:
1) I eat bananas, mangoes and noodles with rice. (Kaya naman pala overweight, e - i-partner ba naman ang calorie sa parehong calorie!)
2) When having obssessive-compulsiveness attacks, I follow everyone all over the house, picking up their litter, wiping their mess, fixing their beds, straightening pillows….. and so on… from where they have left. Often, they get irritated because there are times when I keep/store away their things although they are not yet done using them.
3) I can’t sleep without a glass of water at my bedside.
4) I feel like throwing up until now whenever I see a can of Anchor Milk or Sustagen. The reason: When I was three months pregnant with Aypee, Marco was only over a year old. He fed on Anchor milk formula. Every time I opened the milk can, I would throw up because I didn’t like the smell. Then, thinking it would help solve my infanticipating sickness, I made him switch to Sustagen. Unfortunately however, this formula was even worse for my over sensitive sense of smell. But I could not keep on switching milk formulas for my son just to adjust to my preggy moods. It would be bad for him and besides, he liked Sustagen very much. Kaya tiniis ko na lang. And the vomiting continued throughout my pregnancy. Thus the reason why until now, whenever I see these milk products, I feel like throwing up.
5) During bouts with hypochondria, especially when the current imagined illness is life threatening, I write wills and keep them in my drawer. Then I drop hints to my family that I am leaving them soon and that they should open my drawer when I’m gone. (Oh my, isn’t this a disorder or something?) And when hubby senses I am going weird again, he buys me new things - like a household appliance, or a personal gadget - to divert my thoughts. And voila! I am well again. (What he doesn’t know is that I don’t have bouts with hypochondria anymore, but sometimes pretend to, just so I can have what I want… hehehe)
6) When I need to extract some of my creative juices, I throw all my daughter’s coloring pens and crayons on the table, grab a coloring book and I color…color…color - until ideas start flowing from my mind. Doing coloring books is also my way of unwinding and relaxing. I also color off my blues away when I’m sad or bored. And when my children were younger, we colored together as our way of bonding and spending free time together.
So, there you go, Dine! Six weird (unusual) things about me. Now, on to three other memes that I owe…
Oh you didn’t enjoy Sustagen? I enjoyed that when I was a kid, member pa ata ako ng susy ang geno club? Hahaha
Anyways the only thing I find wierd here is number 5
Hahaha! I used to enjoy Sustagen also.
xD
i also eat banana with rice. i smashed it over rice and mixed it all up. nothing wrong with it, plus it is healthy and delicious.
number 5 is spooky. if i were one of your children, i would be scared. did they ever read your will?
hehehe, while it works, you might as well use your hypochondria excuse to get what you want from your hubby.
Ferdz, na-associate ko kasi ang Sustagen sa paglilihi ko noong araw, kaya hanggang ngayon, I feel sick in the stomach whenever I see one.
Ay, oo! I remember Susy and Geno.. pasayaw sayaw pa sila sa tv noon, di ba? hahaha!
Kyels, I bet you do, too! It’s your generation, actually who are mostly Sustagen fed babies!
Belle, you smash banana over rice? Ngek! Mas weird ka pala sa akin! hahaha!
Yes, No. 5 is spooky nga. No, they didn’t get to read my will… and I have gotten rid of it too.
Kaya nga, sinasamantala habang mainit-init pa…! Ay, sana, hindi niya mabasa ito.. hahaha!
thanks for being game, Rhodes. now, i know, you are as weird as i am, though in many different ways.
#1, i can’t do that! #2, 5, and 6, until now, i am roaring in laughter. you are weird! imagine, writing a will! and following everyone all over the house, i wonder how your family members feel about it. and coloring books at 50! oh well, childish diversion. really, really weird.
